Sergia the dancer

At seveteen, she began dancing professionally and choreographing for Interweave Dance Company in Boulder, Colorado, and remained an instructor for the next 5 years.
In 2007, Sergia focused on Salsa, Latin Hustle and partner dancing and began dancing in professional competitions in Theater Arts, Latin Hustle, Cabaret and Salsa in New York and around the world.
When she realized the incredible blend of power and artistry, she was captivated. It made her want to take on the challenge. She was inspired to use her dance background in a different way, and transferring it to the air was exciting new territory. She was determined to share this type of fitness with others. "After dancing for years, I needed Pole Fitness to help me stop worrying about what my body looked like and start appreciating what it was doing for me.
Sergia holds a BFA in Drama from Tisch School of the Arts, NYU, where she studied at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, the Experimental Theater Wing, and Musical Theater at Collaborative Arts Project 21.
